These shelves were made out of an oak whiskey barrel that had seen better days.
All of the barrel staves were heavily charred and in all different widths. They did have a nice smell though.
These 2 display shelves have all of the character of the original barrel.
The shelves were attached with screws that were then hidden with matching oak dowels.
