Hardwood Workhorse Cutting Board - Walnut, Maple, and Purpleheart
Made from different species of solid hardwood, this edge grain cutting board is a beautiful statement piece for your kitchen. This board is pre-treated with food-safe mineral oil and then finished with a butcher block conditioner. Rubber feet attached with stainless steel screws ensure that the board remains stable on your countertop.
The wood species in this board include walnut, maple, and purpleheart.
This board is 1 3/8” tall. (including the feet)
All boards now come with a 4oz tin of WhiteTee Woodworking board conditioner to keep your boards looking nice for years.
Edge Grain: The grain of the wood is oriented horizontally, this is a durable board that can go long periods of time without maintenance.
BOARD CARE: Frequently wipe down the board as you are using it and wash with dish soap and water by hand when done using it. Never put your board in the dishwasher or leave it submerged in water.
Every three to six months (depending on usage), when board seems dry, you can refresh it with a butcher block conditioner (a food-safe oil and beeswax or carnauba wax mixture). Do not use cooking oil to maintain your board as these can go rancid over time.
