Hardwood Endgrain Butcher Block Board w/ Purpleheart

$150.00
sold out

Made from a variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods, these butcher block style cutting boards are as beautiful as they are durable. These boards are protected with multiple coats of hand rubbed board conditioner. They come with four rubber feet attached on the bottom with stainless steel screws to ensure that the boards remains stable on your countertop.

All boards now come with a 4oz tin of WhiteTee Woodworking board conditioner to keep your boards looking nice for years.

End Grain: The grain of the wood is oriented vertically, this gives less wear to your knives and shows less wear on the board, but takes longer to make and therefore costs more. These type of boards also require slightly more frequent maintenance.

Board Care: Frequently wipe down the board as you are using it and wash with dish soap and water by hand when done using it. Never put your board in the dishwasher or leave it submerged in water.

Every three to six months (depending on usage), when board seems dry, you can refresh it with a butcher block conditioner (a food-safe oil and beeswax or carnauba wax mixture). Do not use cooking oil to maintain your board as these can go rancid over time.
